Jack’s Family Restaurant in Carrollton is finally seeing the long-anticipated renovations we first reported in 2023. Construction crews and materials have been spotted at the location at 1190 North Park Street, near the intersection with Georgia Highway 113, signaling the start of a major transformation.
Based on earlier renovation blueprints, the local restaurant chain intends to provide a more inviting and contemporary atmosphere for its patrons. The outer facade is set for a total transformation, swapping out the existing brick and stucco for a stylish blend of stone at the base and board-and-batten siding above. Furthermore, the current landscaping will be cleared to introduce a new front-porch-style pathway, significantly improving the building's visual appeal.
The renovations inside are just as comprehensive. The whole dining space will undergo a complete overhaul, including new flooring, ceilings, cabinets, and tables. A highlight of the redesign will be the installation of a faux fireplace, complete with a TV positioned above it, reminiscent of the decor seen at the Bremen site.
The restrooms are set to undergo major improvements, giving the facilities a contemporary and refreshed appearance. Although the corporate office was reviewing proposals for the project up until October 25, it is evident that the renovation is now in progress. Currently, there is no official announcement regarding any changes to drive-thru service hours during the construction period.
