A popular BBQ restaurant is closing its doors in downtown Buffalo in February, but don't worry. They will be opening a new location in Hamburg.
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que announced Monday that their downtown Buffalo location on Franklin Avenue will be closing Feb. 2, 2025, or until the BBQ runs out. The owner of Dinosaur said they're closing once their lease ends.
"We are immensely proud of our amazing team in Buffalo, who have dedicated themselves to providing exceptional barbecue and warm hospitality. Our heartfelt thanks go to the community that embraced us 11 years ago and continued to support us," stated Mike Nugent, CEO of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. "As we close one chapter, we eagerly look forward to opening another, bringing our distinctive flavors and atmosphere to Hamburg."
The new location in Hamburg will be located at 4245 McKinley Parkway. They expect to be open in late summer or early fall 2025.
Customers with gift cards can redeem them at any Dinosaur Bar-B-Que restaurant throughout New York State, including the newly opened location in Hamburg.
