One of the most annoying aspects of having a robot vacuum cleaner is dealing with obstacles in its path. However, there’s now a surprising solution that you might not expect.

The RoboRock Saros Z70 is equipped with an arm that allows it to assist in tidying up by picking up small items from the floor, such as towels and socks. Utilizing advanced sensors, the robot can detect objects, assess their weight, and then retrieve and store them appropriately. Additionally, modern robot lawnmowers are now capable of navigating steep inclines, and they are designed to halt and change course if they detect any moving objects or people nearby.

Pawport is an intelligent dog door that allows your furry friends to enter and exit freely. Dogs wear special smart collars that enable them to unlock the door on their own.

Parents now have the ability to establish curfews directly from their smartphones and control which dog is allowed outside during specific hours. Additionally, the brisk it pellet grill can be activated remotely to execute pre-set recipes.

"Once the grilling process is complete, the grill automatically shifts to a 'keep warm' setting that maintains the food at a safe temperature, ensuring it stays delicious and ready to eat without the risk of overcooking."

The Electric Salt fork is perfect for those following low sodium diets. By using electrodes, it stimulates the brain while consuming tasteless foods. This innovative device directs sodium ions towards the tongue, enhancing its ability to detect flavors like saltiness and umami.

While some inventions struggle to make an impact, there are notable successes, like the flying car from Pinnacle. Since I first introduced it to you last year, they have received numerous orders and plan to begin deliveries later this year. Reporting from the CES show floor in Las Vegas, this is What the Tech, I’m Jamey Tucker.
