Introducing a delightful new green ice cream flavor!
On Thursday, January 9, Jeni's Ice Cream announced the addition of a Green Smoothie flavor to their menu.
Drawing inspiration from the popular wellness beverage, the ice cream brand promised customers that this option was equally as delightful as other scrumptious treats.
“Happy New Year! As a variety of new products arrive, one has captured our attention as the standout choice — sure to make you look twice: Jeni’s NEW Green Smoothie ice cream,” states a press release acquired by PEOPLE.
The statement elaborates, “Absolutely, it draws inspiration from your favorite health beverage, and yes, it includes spinach — but believe us, it tastes amazing.”

The spinach delight combines banana, pineapple, orange, and mango, along with a touch of coconut cream.
"It's as if your beloved smoothie took a trip and returned transformed into a dessert — revitalizing, decadent, and perfectly harmonious," the announcement states.

Explaining why the flavor is “worth every scoop,” Jeni’s Ice Cream writes that it’s “a vibrant mix of tropical fruits creates a bright and juicy profile.”
"The addition of spinach brings a delicate earthy flavor that complements the sweetness while providing a vibrant green color," the announcement states. "Rich coconut ice cream is blended in to create that smooth consistency and an element of luxury."
In the pictures, the ice cream showcases a pale green hue accented by a creamy swirl.
The latest offering will be launched just in time for Jeni’s Ice Cream’s anticipated Blueberry Johnnycakes, set to make their debut on Ice Cream for Breakfast Day on January 27.
According to the press release, "Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, a cherished tradition embraced by Jeni’s, is set for February 1st. To celebrate, we will introduce our new Blueberry Johnnycakes flavor, which captures the essence of fluffy pancakes in ice cream, on January 27th."
