For as long as fans remember, popular talk show host Alex Jones has been a pretty big individual, but that has all changed. In a drastic transformation, the 50-year-old appears to have lost 45 pounds and now looks leaner than ever. Hence, fans have reacted to his new physique as his friend and UFC color commentator Joe Rogan recently revealed some inside information about Jones’s weight loss.

Joe Rogan is passionate about fitness and possesses considerable expertise in this area. Although shedding pounds is generally beneficial, the 57-year-old has previously highlighted the potential negative effects that significant weight loss can have on the body. This has been a notable concern among UFC fighters as well. However, while acknowledging Alex Jones’s transformation, Rogan asserts that the process has been seamless for the talk show personality, and fans may have the opportunity to witness that journey on video in the near future.

“He’s losing all weight… Our friend Sean is helping him. He’s working out with him every day,” Joe Rogan stated on the #2253 JRE episode. “He’s really committed. He’s going to do a documentary on it.” Alex Jones also opened up on his transformation and was surprised to see how much weight he had lost. He and his trainer, presumably the friend that Joe Rogan mentioned earlier, would share a post on social media, where, to explain how much weight he lost, they’d compare it to a 45lbs gym plate, which prompted Jones to claim that losing all that weight was “crazy.”

Joe Rogan also participated in a weight-loss regime a few years ago, with him hitting as much as 207 pounds, which is the most he’s ever weighed, according to the 57-year-old. More than a couple of years ago, he’d reveal that as soon as he felt he was getting “fat,” he’d do his regular workouts, and yes, it includes kettlebells, and even doing some martial arts to get back in shape.

“I’ve been like five pounds overweight before. Like, ten pounds overweight. Then I was like, ‘Oh you fat f–k, lose the weight,'” Joe Rogan stated on his podcast in 2022. But in the aforementioned episode, he seemed pretty impressed with Alex Jones and decided to shed some pounds himself. Meanwhile, the fans also gave their take on this whole transformation, and while some are good, others aren’t.

Supporters express mixed feelings about Alex Jones's recent changes.

Well, it’s always a tough task to take that first step and get to the gym to start the workout process, and there were fans who respected Alex Jones for it. A couple of fans seemed happy for the 50-year-old. One fan added that he had noticed changes in his body and commented, “Noticed this the other day when he was live on X. Good on him,” in an Instagram post highlighting Jones’s before and after images. On the other hand, one user observed some positive changes in the talk show host’s appearance. “That’s cool that his whole brow changed, good for him!”

However, some fans seemed confused by this transformation of Alex Jones, and a couple of fans were unable to recognize him. While claiming that Jones looked like celebrities like Dean Morris and WWE’s Paul Levesque, they commented, “Thought it was TRIPLE H for a second,” and, “Looks like Hank from breaking bad now lol.” Similarly, one fan took a light-hearted jab at the 50-year-old’s knack for conspiracy leading him to share a theory of his own. “Guess they k*lled alex and put a clone in his place,” that fan stated.

But then one fan appeared to be of the opinion that the 45-pound loss could be attributed to Alex Jones deciding to stop drinking alcohol. For context, the talk show has even faced some legal trouble due to his drinking habit in the past. “Good to see he’s getting healthy and laying off the alcohol!” But on the other hand, fans believe that the Infowars founder could have taken some medication for that kind of weight loss. “In my experience, everyone who loses big weight and says they’re NOT, IS on O O Ozempic.”

It's no surprise that fans have varying theories regarding Alex Jones's transformation. However, at 50 years old, he appears to be in improved health and spirits. What are your thoughts on Jones's weight loss? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments!
